My latest book is called Beyond Ice and Fire, a showcase of more than 80 photographs taken during the trip to Iceland and Greenland in May and June 2013.

This is the second book I wrote with my wife.  The first one was 24 Days in Great Britain and Ireland published in March 2012. Now almost two years later, we are able to present you with this book about two magnificent places on earth.

In Beyond Ice and Fire, we presented the photographs in two chapters: Iceland and Greenland. The journal of the travel was placed separately at the third chapter for you to trace the details of the journey. It was a unforgettable journey on a landscape of diversification. We were able to cover many of the spots because Iceland is a small country.  But Greenland is so sparsely populated so we visited only Ilulissat and its vicinity. Ice and fire are two extremes but surprisingly they co-existed in this memorable journey for us.

Same as previously, we created the book using Blurb’s BookSmart app on Mac and self-published it.  It is a Print on Demand method from Blurb’s website. So ordering one book is experience (not to mention shipping cost) but the quality of printing and the “Proline Photo” paper is excellent. If you are a member of Blurb, watch out their promotion code from time to time on their website or from us to order at a discounted price.

The current edition is a 118-page hardback and we will be making a paperback available at a cheaper price.

After all, we are planning to make this an ebook edition by using iBook Author. This will be made available in due course in Apple iBook Store.

After presenting most of my photographs online for so many years, I still love the printouts. Reading a book is a different experience completely and I wish you can enjoy this book as much as ours.
