At the beginning I did not expect to see any surprise in PMA 2011 Imaging & Entertainment Expo this afternoon.
Of course, you won’t be disappointed by the presence of all the big guns: cameras and accessories. Photo framing is also one of the major themes this year.
Most excited for me to get a close touch to try the latest Leica M9-P. In particular I like the silver one. The top plate is more shiny than the M9-silver model…Of course I cannot tell the real difference of the sapphire crystal cover of its LCD monitor display to see whether it is really “scratch-resistant, almost unbreakable”. The other things of it are as simplistic as those of a M9. (Earlier I read that if you want to redress your current M9 with the M9-P look, it may cost around EUR 1200.)…
I also found Pentax Q but it is at present only a plastic model in the cabinet. It is tiny and looks nice. I could not get any further information.
The Expo is open till Sunday 26 June at Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre Sydney.
