The rain finally stopped today in most of the areas of Sydney. In the morning there was still light shower but stopped around 10am. It has been raining for four days, setting a new record. Some parts of the New South Wales are inundated with flood water.
When the sun was out, every Sydneysider went out as soon as possible to enjoy sunlight. Newtown is a suburb near my workplace. I walked along King Street, the main street and found everyone wearing a happy face.
The images taken today were captured with the Summicron-M 35mm f/2.0 lens, then converted to Black and White in Adobe Lightroom. During the post processing, I applied filters to the images to create a bigger contrast between light and shadow.
I have attached the B+W ND 0.6 filter to reduce the light and to use the aperture wide open: f/2.0 on my lens. I still think the images are not very appealing.
