Have you been to Apple CreateWorld conference organised by AUC?
If you like Apple products and want to explore more on their uses on learning and teaching, you are not going to miss it next year.
It was already held in Griffith University in South Bank, Brisbane last month.
Mind you: this journal is created from a collection of my random thoughts, it is not very well organised.
Get set and Go (Sunday 25 November):
I took the Virgin Australia flight leaving on time from Sydney domestic airport to Brisbane. The sky was bright and blue and I could see very clearly the land, rivers, houses, roads and the sea underneath. I was amazed to find so many long white beaches sketching along the coast. Who said there is no paradise in Australia? You will never forget those beautiful colours under your feet.
The only thing not good enough for the whole flight was that when it was approaching Brisbane airport, there was turbulence and I felt dizzy in the last 15 minutes.
I booked AirTrain (a train service like Cityrail in Sydney) online to save 10% of the fare (now cost only $13.5) to travel from Brisbane domestic airport to South Brisbane. In fact it was my mistake as the South Brisbane station I wanted to get off was closed for some construction work (I was sure I did not see any notice on the website when I booked). I had to get off at Roma Street station to take a bus. You could imagine the bus was unable to cater for all sorts of passengers, in particular those like me taking suitcases or luggages. Anyway, the staff at the station was very helpful and I arrived the Rydges around 1PM.
